Project Tasks

Moama Cemetery

--

With Moama's population growing rapidly and expected future residential housing estate to be developed in the area, demand for sites within the Moama Cemetery will increase prompting Murray River Council to look at space requirements.

HEC provided a design to accomodate proposed grass plot expansion and establishment of the internal infrastructure for contruction in the immediate future.

This project was designed to include a suitable layout, kerb & channel for drainage within the site and effective intergration with the existing infrastructure and services.

Maude Road Rehabilitation, Moulamein

--

HEC was employed by Murray River Council to deliver design of 1.1km of rehabilitated road on Maude Road, Moulamein with the objective of bringing the sealed section in line with RMS and Murray River Council Standards.

Maude Road needed shoulder widening to 8mt total road width and HEC needed to determine whether the road rehabilitation required reconstructing the entire road section or just rehabilitating the shoulders.

Works included a Feature & Level Survey, Preliminary Design taking into account the Service Location works completed by a sub-contractor and then advancing designs to a Detailed Design phase including a Bill of Quantites.

This project was completed on time and within budget.

Kerb & Channel Replacement - Barham

--

Murray River Council looked to renew Kerb & Channel throughout the township of Barham in 2024 and employed HEC for the design and setout for construction.

Council acknowledged six sections for kerb rehabilitation equalling 1,040mt. HEC completed feature & level survey of all 6 scope areas, 3D modelling & design documentation for construction and construction setout onsite.

Council requested a tight timeframe for turnaround of design and HEC were able to complete all aspects of the brief under the quoted fee, due to a change in scope, and within Council timeframes.
